Alexis

Alexis, senior, has been with The PEERS Project for three years as an outstanding role model for younger students. In addition to PEERS she is involved with the elite choral group, First Edition, at Jefferson High School. Additionally, she is a member of the cheerleading squad, cheering the Bronchos on to victory. Outside of school, she has been involved with 4-H, showing horses. She plans to attend St. Mary-The-Woods, in Terra Haute, and study equine science. She has grown tremendously in her presentation and people skills since joining PEERS, and she is admired as a leader in her high school. Congratulations Alexis!
Roddy
Roddy is a recent Lafayette Jefferson High School graduate, and is attending Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Indiana, on a basketball scholarship. He has only been a peer mentor with PEERS for one semester but he has made a tremendous impact in a short period of time. He is known for being bold about his stand for abstinence until marriage and his tenacity on the hardwood. He is as exciting to watch on the basketball court as he is when he gives impassioned PEERS presentations. We wish Roddy all the best as he starts the new phase of his life with The Crimson Wave!
Chloe

Central High School senior Chloe Anagnos rose to the top of a field of 23 young women to be named Elkhart Junior Miss. Chloe’s dramatic piano recital of "Under Shooting Stars" by Carolyn Miller put the creative and performing arts preliminary award in her hands. She followed up with the award for poise and self-expression, interview and another for placing among the Top 10 finalists.
