Problems Facing Our Youth

The teenage years are a confusing and overwhelming time, where teens are faced with bullying, peer pressure, abusive relationships, and other challenges. The decisions they make during this time can affect them for the rest of their lives.

  • Kids 8-18 spend an average of seven hours a day in front of a “screen” (Huffington Post 10.18.13)
  • Sex is becoming more and more the mainstream in our culture, media and social media
  • More teens are smoking marijuana than tobacco (high school youth trends)
